Danske Fragtmænd delivered a profit before tax of DKK 55 million in 2025. The result marks the company’s third-best performance in the past ten years and reflects stable and healthy business operations.

Activity levels increased by almost 5 percent during the year, reaching 9.6 million shipments, while net revenue developed satisfactorily. Overall, the company remains financially strong with an improved balance sheet and strengthened liquidity.

- We are delivering a solid result that confirms stable operations and a business in balance. At the same time, we remain focused on developing the business further and strengthening earnings in the years ahead, says CEO Jakob Flyvbjerg Christensen.

The result was achieved in a market characterised by increasing demands for efficiency and transformation. The green transition remained a strategic priority throughout the year. Danske Fragtmænd therefore made significant investments in establishing charging infrastructure across its terminals to support the rollout of electric trucks among its freight carriers and owners. These investments support both day-to-day operations and the company’s long-term business development while strengthening its position in a market with growing demands for sustainable transport solutions.

In 2025, the company also initiated a strategic programme aimed at strengthening profitability, efficiency and organisational development. The efforts included improved operational and shipment visibility, modernisation of core systems and a stronger focus on growth areas with proven potential.

At the same time, both the Board of Directors and the executive management team were strengthened. Lizette Kjellerup, Sven Buhrkall and Hanne Blume joined the Board as external members and contribute extensive experience within leadership, finance and business development. In addition, a new executive management team was established and finalised by the end of the year with an increased focus on commercial development and digitalisation.

- We are in a strong position with a healthy business and an organisation that continues to evolve. This gives us a solid foundation for the decisions we will make about the future, Jakob Flyvbjerg Christensen.
