Danske Fragtmænd Appoints New CEO from Verdo

The board of Danske Fragtmænd has appointed Jakob Flyvbjerg Christensen as its new CEO. With experience in top executive positions at companies such as A.P. Moller-Maersk, Aarhus Port, and most recently as CEO of Verdo, Christensen is a seasoned and visionary leader who will now head Danske Fragtmænd.
Since March, when Danske Fragtmænd lost its CEO Jørn P. Skov, Chairman of the Board Bjarne Krogh Jensen, along with the daily management team, has ensured continuity and stability in the company. The appointment of Jakob Flyvbjerg Christensen marks an important step toward continued growth and development while maintaining the company’s strong foundation and values.

Facts About Jakob Flyvbjerg Christensen
- CEO of the energy and utility group Verdo Holding A/S since January 1, 2020.
- Formerly Port Director for Aarhus Port and Managing Director of the container terminal APM Terminals in Aarhus.
- Extensive experience in freight transport, logistics, and warehousing from various roles at A.P. Moller-Maersk in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Italy.
- Board member in several organizations, including Green Power Denmark.
- Holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Aarhus School of Business and CBS.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from CBS.
- Resides in Randers with his wife Charlotte and their two daughters.
