We wants to go green
At Danske Fragtmænd, we are aware that our business has a significant impact on the environment. Therefore, we work every day to reduce our CO2 emissions as much as possible, so we can fulfill our responsibility in the green transition.
There is no doubt that the greenhouse gases from our transport have a negative impact on environmental conditions, which motivates us to find and implement more sustainable solutions. A significant measure to reduce environmental risks is the purchase of more electric trucks. We have already taken major steps by introducing and testing electric trucks in our fleet and see considerable progress in technology and usability. To accelerate our green transition, we are continuously expanding our tests and use of electric trucks.
Although the transition to electric-powered trucks is the right direction towards a greener future, we must acknowledge that the transition is both prolonged and costly. It requires significant investments in new technology and infrastructure, which does not happen overnight. Therefore, we are also exploring other areas in our business where we can optimize and reduce our CO2 emissions. This includes everything from streamlining our logistics processes to the use of alternative fuels and improving our energy efficiency across our facilities. These measures are all part of our broader strategy to minimize our environmental impact while continuing to deliver the service and quality our customers expect.
All this and more can be read about in Danske Fragtmænd's environmental policy. Here you will find a description of all our measures that will help us achieve our ambition to deliver a CO2-neutral transport solution to our customers. Below, you can also find Danske Fragtmænd's annual report for 2023, which includes our climate account.
