The stringent measures of the Danish government

12 March 2020

Yesterday evening, the government issued new measures to contain the Corona virus which, unfortunately, appears to be spreading quickly throughout the Danish population. Naturally, Danske Fragtmænd keeps abreast with the recommendations of the government to avoid infecting our customers and members of staff.

At the time of writing, there are no incidents of corona virus at Danske Fragtmænd and we have an emergency preparedness should part of our operations be affected. However, we do need to point out that this is a force majeure event. This means that should we experience problems with capacity, we will be forced to give priority to foods and transports for the health sector.

As the largest distribution network in Denmark, we see ensuring that Denmark is kept moving as a task of national importance and, for this reason, we continue to operate at full capacity. However, we cannot rule out the possibility that, in the coming days, irregularities may occur in our deliveries.

We encourage you to keep yourselves informed at our website where we provide continuously updated information on our operating status. Moreover, we would ask that you contact your regular Danske Fragtmænd contact person and, as far as possible, refrain from contacting Customer Service about irregularities in transport of goods.

We also refer you to our subsidiary, Danske Fragtmænd Express, which is available should you require assistance with extraordinary jobs. You can contact Danske Fragtmænd Express at T 7252 9200 or booking.jylland@dfexpress.dk.

We thank you for your patience and understanding in this very special situation.

Best regards

Danske Fragtmænd
