Recipients found for Danske Fragtmænd's first employee grants

Our employees have been involved in nominating their colleagues, and we award the grants based on three categories: Colleague of the Year, Driver of the Year and Manager of the Year. We received a total of 38 nominations, which we think is quite impressive considering it's the first time we're awarding the grants. A committee consisting of CEO Jørn P. Skov, HR Operations Manager Hennie T. Pedersen, Sales Director Maria B. Rosenbæk and Marketing and Communications Manager Henriette K. Hansen were then involved in assessing and choosing who would receive the three grants. In addition to the honor, each grant also included the sum of DKK 10,000.

Colleague of the Year: Rashid Ahmed Musa

The recipient of the Colleague of the Year award was our terminal employee in Taastrup, Rashid Ahmed Musa. Here are Musa's nominations:

Hanne Østerkjærhuus, (KAM) customer service employee in Taastrup:

"Musa is a terminal worker in hall 2 in Taastrup. He is our seeker and never gives up. So in addition to unloading trailers, he is our lifeline in KAM and customer service when we need to find goods. He finds even the smallest packages, he also asks the area managers at the routes if he can't find what he's looking for himself. Always friendly, smiling and helpful. I don't know what we would do without him."

Henrik Berthou-Berthelsen, owner of the Berthelsen & Co. route:

"Musa is always a pleasure to encounter in everyday life. He spreads a good mood WHILE he works. A cheeky remark often comes from his mouth - WHILE he's working. Very rarely do you see Musa standing still."

Driver of the Year: Mikkel Christiansen

The recipient of the Driver of the Year award was Mikkel Christiansen from HLS Fragt/Slagelse Transportcenter A/S. Mikkel's nomination came from Jacob Larsen, Operations Director at Slagelse Transportcenter A/S:

"Mikkel is always ready to help! Both colleagues from Danske Fragtmænd but also other drivers! In November, he went the extra mile and spotted a truck on fire! He quickly parks the truck and pulls out his fire extinguisher! The other driver had no fire extinguishers on the truck, and he managed to put out the fire. That's what you call a real everyday hero."

Manager of the Year: Kenni Honoré Madsen

The recipient of the Leader of the Year award was our team leader in Taulov, Kenni Honoré Madsen. Kenni's nominations came from two colleagues in Taulov:

Frederik Hagner, terminal worker in Taulov:

"Can help with everything, gets things done, listens to what you say to him, gives a good vibe, great that he is so young."

Henrik Riis, terminal worker in Taulov:

"Good leader and keeps the team together."

Once again, congratulations to the three recipients. Through this initiative, we are pleased to be able to pay tribute to some of those who go the extra mile for their colleagues every day. We look forward to repeating the success next year.
