Jannik Thøgersen from Danske Fragtmænd at the top of the podium to great applause from the audience.
The Danish Championship for transport apprentices is a recurring event at which some of the best and most ambitious driver and warehouse apprentices in the transport sector battle it out to become the best in the industry. In the course of the day, the total of 60 trainees were to compete in a total of ten disciplines in which they were given the opportunity to show off some of the many finesses and vocational skills that they have learnt during their training and at their place of apprenticeship.
Danske Fragtmænd’s warehouse trainee Jannik Thøgersen from the warehouse hotel at DTC in Vejle clinched an impressive first place in stowage, which was one of the five disciplines in which he competed. After the brilliant Danish Championship in stowage and an honourable effort in the disciplines theory test, sales of goods, truck manoeuvring and truck precision, Jannik thus took an overall and very impressive third place.
In addition to Jannik, apprentice drivers Nikolai Beilfeldt Pedersen and Kasper Falk were also in action.
The winner of each of the total of ten disciplines as well as the two overall winners were also presented with a cheque for DKK 500 donated by Danske Fragtmænd. The Danish Championship for transport apprentices is held in collaboration with other transport schools in Denmark and the Transport Training Board of Denmark (TUR). This year’s edition was held at AARHUS TECH in Viby J, Aarhus, Denmark.
A proud new Danish champion is presented with a voucher signed by Danske Fragtmænd.
