Capacity surcharge

As announced before the summer holidays, we are being forced to introduce a 7 per cent capacity surcharge as of 1 September 2018.
Like other carriers, we are experiencing a shortage of transport capacity and drivers.
A major reason for this is that many foreign drivers are no longer operating in Denmark – as a result of better economic times at home, but also the fact that the new parking rules at rest areas are making it difficult for them to do so.
This is putting pressure on demand and hence the price for domestic capacity – the only capacity Danske Fragtmænd uses.
We hope you will understand our need to introduce the capacity surcharge. Please note that there will be no further price adjustments on 1 January 2019.
